Seltenes Schauspiel1977 kam die französische Theatergruppe "de l'Unité" auf die Idee, mit einem 2CV auf Tournee zu gehen. Das Auto selbst fungierte dabei als rollendes Theater und bot Platz für gerade mal zwei Zuschauer gleichzeitig. Für 5 Francs Eintritt (=0,75€), bzw. 3 Francs (= 0,45€) für die Gemeinden führten die Schauspieler dann auf der winzigen Kofferraum-Bühne ihr Stück auf, das aufgrund der begrenzten Zuschauerkapazität sehr häufig am Tag gespielt werden musste und dabei im Durchschnitt rund 8 Minuten lang dauerte. Die erste Aufführung fand 1977 in Beaubourg statt, das Stück hieß "L'Odysée des mulots du lac" und war nur der Auftakt einer sehr langen Spielkarriere. Insgesamt bereiste das Theater von 1977 bis 1997 mehr als 20 Länder und 3 Kontinente und brachte es auf etwa 1000 Vorführungen. Dafür taten nacheinander zwei 2CV ihren Dienst, wovon der Zweite, der 2CV "Troubadour" von 1982, inzwischen einen Ehrenplatz im Conservatoire von Citroën bekommen hat. 2007 spielte die Theatergruppe dort sogar eine neue Inszenierung, quasi als Hommage an die alte Zeit. Im Rahmen der Techno Classica stellte Citroën den Troubadour nun kürzlich unter dem Motto "Citroën und die Kunst" selbst auf die Bühne.
Rare spectacle
In 1977 the French theatre group "de l'unité" had the idea to go on tour in a 2CV. It was the car itself that functioned as a mobile theatre and offered space for just two spectators at the same time. For 5 Francs entrance (= 0.75€) or 3 Francs (=0.45€) for municipalities the actors then played their stage play on the tiny luggage space stage, which had to be played many times a day due to the limited seating capacity and therefore only lasted 8 minutes on average. The first performance "L'Odyssée des mulots du lac" took place in Beaubourg in 1977 and was only the beginning of a very long career. Overall, the theatre travelled more than 20 countries and 3 continents between 1977 and 1997 and had about 1000 plays. Two 2CV did their job one after the other, which the second, the 2CV "Troubadour" from 1982, meanwhile found its place of honour in the Conservatoire Citroën. In 2007 the theatre group even staged a new production there, as a kind of hommage to the old days. In context of the Techno Classica, Citroën even recently put the Troubadour on a stage itself, themed "Citroën and Arts".
