Es wird viel gerätselt über Anzahl und Baujahre original schwarzer Enten. Es heißt an einzelnen Stellen, der 2CV in Onyxschwarz (Noir Onyx, AC 200) sei Mitte der 80er Jahre nur für kurze Zeit für Belgien produziert worden, in den Varianten Special oder Club. In Frankreich tauchte der Farbton nur an der rot-schwarzen Charleston Ente auf, alle anderen uni-schwarzen 2CV seien dort später nachlackiert worden, so lauten Gerüchte. Wie dem auch sei, ob dieser Ente Federkleid schon schwarz war, als sie das Werk verließ, bleibt vorerst das Geheimnis des Besitzers.

There is much speculation about number and years of construction of original black ducks. It is sometimes said, the 2CV in colour Onyx black (Noir Onyx, AC 200) would only have been produced for a short time in the mid-80s for Belgium, as club or special model. In France, that colouring only appeared as part of the red-black Charleston duck - it is rumoured all the other plain black 2CV there had been repainted later. Anyway, if this duck's feather dress was already black when it left the factory for the present remains the secret of the owner.
