Abfahrt!Es brauchte eine ganze Weile, um den Einstieg in dieses Projekt zu finden. Schon lange schwebte mir die Idee mir vor, private Bilder und Geschichten rund um den 2CV zu sammeln und zu veröffentlichen. Doch wie bringt man so einen Stein ins Rollen? Es liegt auf der Hand, dass ich also zunächst bei mir selbst anfange. Wie kam ich zum 2CV oder kam er nicht vielmehr zu mir?
Lange habe ich geglaubt, ich seie erst relativ spät mit diesem Wunderwerk der Automobilgeschichte erstmalig in Berührung gekommen, etwa mit 22. Doch dann stieß ich durch Zufall beim Durchforsten alter Fotoalben auf dieses Bild von ca. 1976, welches eindeutig belegt, dass ich (links) scheinbar doch schon sehr früh erste Erfahrungen am Steuer einer Ente gesammelt habe! Es handelte sich bei meinem "Einsteiger-Modell" offenbar um einen frühen Cabrio-Umbau, zudem noch eine sehr seltene Version mit zwei (!) Lenkrädern!

It took quite a while to get in this project. For a long time I had this vision in my mind to collect and publish private pictures and stories around the 2CV. But how to get the ball rolling? It is obvious to begin with myself. How did I come to the 2CV or wasn't it rather the case the 2CV came to me?
I thought for ages that I encountered this marvel of automobile history quite late, with about 22. But then, while combing through old photo albums, I luckily came across this photo of perhaps 1976, which clearly evidences, that I (on the left) had obviously very early experiences on the steering-wheel of a Deuche!
My "start-up-model" seemed to be an early convertible reconstruction, furthermore a rare version with even two (!) steering-wheels!
